The history of Electric Motor Technology:

Since our founding, EMT has experienced impressive growth, both in expertise and size. Our journey began in Klimmen, where we took our first steps in offering engines for the maritime sector. As our expertise and customer base grew, it was time for a larger location.

This brought us to Weert, where we significantly expanded our capacity and moved into more advanced production facilities. Increasing demand and substantial expansion of the range of engines and test facilities, led to a third move.

Today, we are proudly located in Echt, the Netherlands, where we have a state-of-the-art facility with modern testing and production areas. Here we can develop our innovative electric motor solutions with even greater precision and efficiency. This growth reflects our commitment to quality, innovation and customer satisfaction.

The DC motor program is started with the DC71-2GP

Further expansion of DC motors

With the types: DC80-4GP, DC112-4GP(N) and DC160-4GM. The PMSM program is being expanded with type SM112

Field wound DC motors type DC112, DC132 and DC180 are available

The type DC90-4GM is added
