Alternative Power Source

Alternative power source

In addition to main traction, our electric motors are increasingly used as alternative power sources for a variety of applications within mobile, battery-powered systems. Consider situations where not the main drive, but functional implements or auxiliary systems are electrically driven. A common application is the replacement of traditional hydraulic or mechanical PTOs (Power Take-Offs) with electric drives. This allows, for example, trucks with crane/tipper combinations , cement mixers or hydraulic pumps on implements to be driven efficiently, quietly and emission-free.

Electric auxiliary engines are also gaining ground in sectors such as landscaping and waterworks. Mowing boats that have multiple cutters or mowing units on board benefit from the direct, reliable control of our electric motors. Thanks to high torque availability at low speeds, our motors are particularly suitable for drives that demand a lot of power without stationary overload.

An additional advantage is the flexibility in control: frequency-controlled, CAN bus-controlled or fully integrated into existing battery management systems. With their compact construction, quiet operation and low maintenance, our electric motors offer a sustainable alternative to classic mechanical auxiliary drives – ready for the emission-free future of mobile tools.
